Job Summary
Assess and analyze business needs to find and recommend information technology solutions, gather information, document processes, and confirm the final product and solutions with users. Assist with the digital transformation plan of the institution, while participating in the process of system and software upgrading, replacement and integration.
Job Requirements
1. Define objectives and scope of the business system while discovering and prioritizing project requirements from various stakeholders.
2. Communicate, translate, and simplify business requirements to ensure buy-in from all stakeholders.
3. Capture business processes & workflows for analysis, assessment, & improvement.
4. Gather data and analyze business and user needs.
5. Coordinate the development of documentation to enable implementation and turnover of the system process.
6. Work with the team to document system scenarios and identify roles impacted to help develop a change management/training plan.
7. Conduct business process modeling and generate applicable scenarios for the technical functionality testing team.
8. Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications
• BA in Business Analytics, Information Systems or related field
• 3 to 5 years of prior experiences working as business analyst
• Expert level in Microsoft Office applications, including Project
• Experienced in project management and data analysis
• Excellent communication skills written and oral
• Understanding business functional areas
• Exceptional ability to position and "sell" reasonable, actionable, and cost-effective solutions, including the ability to properly gauge the requirements and "plug" the appropriate solution.
• Forward-thinking and resourceful to skirt red tape and ensure solutions are brought to fruition and requirements are adequately closed.
• Ability to problem-solve and apply methodologies to prepare detailed specifications using case statements and related documentation
• People skills, with the ability to engage diplomatically with stakeholders and communicate changes that may not be aligned with the original expectations
